Now this designer knows exactly what kind of pool patio ideas get me excited for a summertime backyard party. Can you imagine stepping outside your back door into a yard like the one in these patio pictures -- it would be like living at a resort every single day of the year! Sure I know that a lagoon style pool with huge boulders, waterfalls and trivial palm trees everywhere, but this look really gets me excited to drink and hula dance if you know what I mean. Aloha! Originally I was on the lookout for some landscaping ideas 2022 to upgrade our backyard, but now I am about ready to copy this exact design. I don't even care how much it will cost, I think that it will be well worth the time and budget commitment.
The pool patio ideas at this desert house are so radical -- I wish that I could just copy and paste them into our backyard! I find that so many outdoor patio designs that you see in catalogues or the brochures at the store are just too boring for my family's taste. We want to feel like we are on vacation every time we walk out that back door, so creating an outdoor oasis like the one in these photos would definitely go a long way to making that happen. If you look closely they even have decorative string lights strung from the house to the large fireplace so that it has an awesome island ambience even in the evening. I guess we have to start by copying some of their stone patio ideas to get the base of the design, and then just upgrade from there.
This was one of my favorite backyards to design and I think that the photos of the finished space serve as a great resource of pool patio ideas and inspiration for any homeowners that are working with a somewhat small property. I would say that the signature of my patio designs are the fact that they look like an extension of an elegant living room rather than a casual backyard space. I like to utilize the same techniques that I do for interior decor, in that I choose a minimalistic neutral color palettes that really accentuate the beauty of any architecture that may be in the area. For this home, I really wanted the backyard pool ideas that we installed to play up the great geometric lines of the small townhouse style home. I also wanted it to be an appropriate scale so that it would not overwhelm the somewhat small grassy area that they had behind the home.
What do you all think about adding some new pool patio ideas to this fairly empty space out back behind our house? Ever since moving into our house I have held off on upgrading our backyard patio designs because the property is so beautiful. I wanted to make sure that we had everything planned out to the "t" before we changed up the space. As you can see, the yard is pretty well decorated already, but I wanted to spice things up a little bit with some simple yet elegant furniture and maybe even some sort of gas fire pit feature. I love the pool landscaping ideas that the previous homeowner installed, so I would probably leave all of that as is both as far as style and do keep the budget for the project a bit lower.
I think that we need to upgrade our backyard with some pool patio ideas, but I wasn't sure if that would ruin the minimalistic look we have going now. As you can see from the photos, the pool designs that we chose reflect the simple and modern architecture of the exterior (and interior) or our home. We have a couple of decorative features like the gravel accents on either side of the pool steps, the rug underneath our simple patio chair setup, and the geometric design of the pool, but other than that it is pretty bare. I would love to incorporate some of the trending patio ideas 2022, but I don't want to overwhelm the space with garish designs. If any designers on here would like to work with us, feel free to reach out.
Whomever owns this house really hit the jackpot when it comes to awesome pool patio ideas that enhance your average run of the mill backyard (albeit with gorgeous views). I absolutely love that the tropical inspired backyard pool designs that they chose are definitely fun and whimsical yet very tastefully done. They enhance the mission style architecture of the home rather than taking away from it if you know what I mean. The problem with so many of the rocky accents that you often see on pools is that it looks a little cliche rather than tasteful and elegant. In my opinion, the success of these pool design ideas was achieved by knowing when to stop. Just a very boulders here and there added design without overwhelming the space with a huge rock wall. A round of applause is certainly due for this landscape architect.
